Thompson’s Sugar Shack is a young family based in Jefferson, NY, that has been making pure maple syrup for generations. We are passionate about sharing our love of maple with the community, and we believe that our syrup is the best you’ll ever taste.

We tap our own trees, boil the sap in wood-fired evaporators, and bottle the syrup by hand. Our syrup is all-natural. It’s the perfect way to add a touch of sweetness to your pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, or yogurt.

We offer a variety of other maple products, including maple candy, maple cream, maple mustard and maple vinegars. There is a selection of gifts and souvenirs, all made right here at Thompson’s Sugar Shack.

Open year round, we offer tours of our sap house, and host a variety of events, such as Maple Weekend and maple sugaring demonstrations.
